chelsea- awesome! we made her vegan green bean casserole last year and it was a HUGE hit, so i trust her recipes!

alice- we've been wanting to make a pumpkin cheesecake for a long time now, so we figured we would go for it this year!

allularpunk- congrats on your 2nd vegan thanksgiving! it took our family a very long time to stop making a turkey for the non-vegan family members. but eventually we sat down and told them that we just couldn't do it anymore..it symbolized everything that we stood against, sitting right dab in the middle of our thanksgiving table. luckily our family is about 80% vegetarian, and the non-veg family members were more than willing to sacrifice ONE DAY without meat if it meant so much to us, which it does.
what's so great about thanksgiving is that almost all of the traditional side dishes are vegetables, like green beans, potatoes, carrots, etc. so making a vegan thanksgiving feast is SUPER easy, and with all the great food being served, non-veg people won't even miss the turkey!

haha... sounds like josh needs to be the one making pumpkin pie from now on in your family. this is going to be my second vegan thanksgiving, and this year, my mom and i are making all vegan side dishes (but she's still making a dead bird for everyone else). i'm creeping my way in, slowly but surely.

umm..yes, yes, YES! as an omni, i totally hated buffalo chicken wings. i also never really liked ranch (buttermilk, mayo, what?). but it sounds so fricking good as a vegan pizza! yes. i must have it.

Mmm, MMM!! These were absolutely delicious... I made myself a "meat"ball sub (on cracked wheat bread b/c I don't have any sub rolls... ha) w/ tons of marinara and an extra sprinkle of nooch. :D One of the tastiest dinners I have made in a long time!

I am for sure gonna make these again. The only trouble I had with them was getting them to bind together while rolling. I added a bit more broth and just threw the nutritional yeast into the batch and that seemed to give it a more sticky consistency. Didn't matter though, because I just smooshed them into my sammich, anyway!

Great recipe, folks! Next up for the rest of my TVP: crabcakes!! :D :D :D
