Italian Style Green Beans
Josh hated green beans…until Chelsea made this recipe.
1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 small yellow onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
14 oz can diced tomatoes
3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Salt and pepper
Steam green beans until tender. Rinse under cold water to stop them from cooking and to set the nice green color. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the green beans, tomatoes, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer about 10 minutes. Stir in fresh basil and cook additional minute. Serve hot.

Nope the Thanksgiving one was a recipe I tried from another blog. Delicious though, right?
